Tampa Pipe Pigging

Industrial Pipe Cleaning Tampa

Whether your piping system carries product, or if your "product" is actually waste your pipes are vulnerable to debris and buildup and keeping your pipes clean can save you money in pumping power, production efficiency (Dollars Per Hour)  and maintenance costs.

A partially clogged piping system will run your pumps harder, possibly leading to failure. A planned, short, downtime can help you avoid unplanned downtime that might come at 3am when you, the plant manager, would much prefer to be home in bed.

Poly Pig Tampa

An inline device called a piping pig or poly-pig can be used to scour the walls of industrial pipes. This can often be done with negligible downtime. Pipe pigs are made in a variety of diameters; Some measured in mere inchs, others in feet, larger than a person. The cleaning surface of the pig can vary depending on the buildup and the material of the pipe and might include wire brushes or simply scrub with the exterior of it's own body. A smart pig or 'Sherlock Pig" can be used to track identify and re-map lost pipes and valves.

Tampa Pipe Jetting

For some applications, a high power water jet will be selected to clear build up. A high pressure water jet is effective regardless of pipe diameter when the correct flow and pressure are used. Water jetting is works well on debris including roots, sewage, cooking grease, automotive grease, lime scale and more. Professional Piping Services Inc. can use the site's water supply or supply a tank if the job demands it.

Temple Terrace Tree Service

I've often written about one of my clients, Mid Florida Tree Service.

It's a family business, currently being run by the second generation, with the current owner having begun helping his father at the age of 16, many years ago.

Mid Florida Tree Service has certainly been around for a while. That longevity only comes by keeping their customers happy.

They are based out of Thonotosassa Florida. Most of the time when I'm trying to help promote them, I'll talk about Tampa, because that's where most of the internet searches are, but I'd like to point out that they are right next door for those homes and businesses in Temple Terrace Florida who may find themselves in need of a professional arborist.

If your Temple Terrace home or business has overgrown trees, diseased trees, or storm damaged trees, Mid Florida Tree service is the place to call for help.

What is an immersion tube burner?

Some processes, like some high temp paint dips, metal coating processes and various cleaning systems require a liquid to be heated to a high temperature so that the product can be submerged into the liquid for procesing.

An immersion tube burner is made with this in mind.
A dip tank is designed with a tube, often near the bottom of the tank, where flame can be introduced to more directly heat the liquid. The burner is outside the tank and a blower forces the flame into the tube.

One such industrial burner is the ImmersoJet from Eclipse.

The Eclipse ImmersoJet is designed to fire at a high velocity into a low diameter tube in immersion heating tanks. The combustion gases scrub the tube surfaces, producing the highest heat transfer rate of any immersion burner. The ImmersoJet provides the fastset heat-up times of any immersion burner. The standard burner has a packaged blower, actuator control motor, integral butterfly valve, ratio regulator, burner body, combustion chamber, nozzle rear cover, spark and flame rods.

Purchase Eclipse ImmersoJet and other industrial heating components from Thermal Equipment Systems, Inc.

Tampa Tree Service

Anyone who finds their way to my blog will notice that I write about my clients quite a bit. One of those clients is Mid Florida Tree Service.

The Jones family has been taking care of trees in the Tampa Bay area since 1976! In that time, they have gained plenty of experience and expertise in proper arborculture.

So much of the Tampa area is urbanized. The trees living in this urban forest can't always access the natural nutrients that would be available in a rural woods. We pave our roads, pick up our leaves and kill as many insects as we can. Because this breaks the natural cycle, we often have to fertilize our trees.

Spreading fertilizer on the surface, even if you try "watering it in", often gets absorbed by the surface plants like your grass. Mid Florida Tree Service can use Deep Root Feeding to ensure the nutrients reach their target and your trees get the full benefit of the application.

Keeping urban trees properly fertilized is vital to their longterm health and stability. Between visits from your certified arborist, keep an eye on the leaves of your tree for any signs of yellowing or discoloration which may indicate inadequate nourishment.
